The Digitalization Competence Centre (DCC) is Ontario’s knowledge centre focused on driving the digital modernization of Ontario SMEs. Through DCC, Ontario is placing its SMEs at the forefront of digital transformation, supporting them to adapt and thrive from this digital evolution. DCC is a Government of Ontario initiative led by OCI.
DCC has two program streams to support SMEs in the adoption and implementation of digital technology:
Stream1: Digital Modernization and Adoption Plan (DMAP)
Stream2: Technology Demonstration Program

We schedule a meeting with the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI) to initiate your DMAP application.
Fill out the DMAP application form and submit it to OCI for review and approval.
Once your application is approved, sign an agreement with Deljoo to begin your DMAP journey.
Engage in a series of 6-8 weekly, 2-hour workshops to gain valuable insights and develop your digital strategy. Benefit from expert advisory services to tailor your plan to your specific business needs.
Submit your digital plan to OCI to receive reimbursement for 50% of the costs.
Consider applying for the Technology Demonstration Program (Stream 2) to access additional funding for digital technology implementation.

The program supports SMEs to better figure out their technology needs, and it lends small-medium organizations a hand to adopt new technologies at a fast speed.
The plan covers up to 50% of eligible costs in funding support for small and medium businesses.

Your business should be an SME, but there are some other eligibility criteria. It should be an Ontario-based for-profit SME that has 1-499 employees.
The applications are accepted currently on a rolling basis. Applications must be initiated in the AccessOCI system by an OCI business development manager or an OCI DAA. Once confirmed, the applicant will receive the login information to begin completing the forms.

Referring to the program’s website, all eligible applications will undergo a review process where they are evaluated against the defined program objectives.
